It makes you smile and want to get up and dance. I think that it’s now very important for advertising to be liked. Not like the old show-and-tell days, when all you needed was a benefit and a reason-why. But how do the marketers of Stride Gum hope it works?

The ability to set goals and then, by following through, achieve them is a very powerful force. The short circuit occurs for most people when they don't commit to their goals in writingand if the goal isn't written down, progress can't be tracked. And, if progress isn't tracked, success can't happen because the pathway to that success is lost. Writing goals down sounds pretty easy: So why don't more of us do it?

LinkedIn has seen significant growth over the last year and the numbers keep climbing. As of last week there were over 25 million members. That’s an impressive number even if it does trail Facebook (50 million plus) and MySpace (65 million plus). Being a business networking site, it’s likely to not reach the saturation of the other two. That’s ok, since from a business perspective it has the ability to be more productive to your average professional.
